Ágùst was born on the Westman Islands, in the South of Iceland.  Formerly an Electrician, he has throughout his career enjoyed lighting design projects that present a challenge. His award winning projects have been featured in many high-profile magazines around the world.

For Ágùst, a good lighting design project includes a perfect balance between light and shadow. The design should enhance the architectural or natural structure with a good technical solution to back it up.

When Ágùst is not working, he enjoys chocolate. Chocolate out in nature, chocolate on top of a mountain, or chocolate with friends and family while watching a silly movie, probably about chocolate. He strongly believes that the answer to life, the Universe and everything is definitely… 42
