With a bachelor degree in Architecture, Sara began her career as a lighting designer at Isometrix Lighting design in 2014 in London, after gaining her MSc in Architectural Lighting Design at MASTERDIA, Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Sara joined EFLA | Kevan Shaw Lighting Design in 2020 as Associate, after working as a team leader and senior designer for Nulty + in London for nearly 5 years. Since March 2024, Sara plays an important support and leadership role in the KSLD team as Director - leading projects, completing fee proposals and managing the team and the business’s image.

Sara fell in love with Lighting design because it combines the need for technical, analytical knowledge and creativity under the same discipline. Sara brings a pragmatic approach to projects and time management, motivating , actively encouraging and supporting the learning and development of all team members and assessing in their performance.

In 2018 Sara was nominated for the 40 under 40 group of young lighting designers.
