The Singleton whisky visitor experience center, located in the heart of the Black Isle, near the popular North Coast 500, in the beautifully picturesque Muir of Ord, a stone’s throw from the Highland capital of Inverness, welcomes the visitor into a world of taste and flavour, and its interior design, by BRC Imagination Arts & Graven Studio, doesn’t stand behind and showcases a modern and sophisticated atmosphere.
The lighting scheme tries to compliment the different moods of the spaces designed to create a route through the experience of whisky: from the tour intro where the accent emphasizes the ingredients that make whisky possible; to the social bar space, the private tasting, or the sensory tasting room where demonstrations take place and guests are invited to a more intimate feel. Lighting is integrated into details, disappearing to the view of the spectator but revealing textures and quality of materials. Saying that, along with the thematic hook of the brand, ‘The Bar is the Star’, the lighting for this main space encapsulates the sociable nature of the Brand, which celebrates the joy of connection, and becomes a feature that flows on the space and makes it fluid.
